The 2020 Election: Understanding the issues

 

There are a couple of ways I try to stay in the loop with today’s politics. Below listed are QU’s tips on how to learn about the issues, presidential candidates, and political drama!

 

COMMERCIALS

The radio and television have come a long way in providing cool ways to bring information to the public with different content. For example, listening to the radio can play commercials in between each break in promotion for the election. Each candidate scripts a radio or televised advertisement about an issue from their agenda.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Our current president, Donald Trump, has made it known he is a big fan of social media. Twitter and many other social media sites have provided consumers the opportunity to stay up to date with the election and even personal lives of our candidacy. A quick and easy way to stayed entertained even with Trump’s crazy tweets. A simple search in your Instagram or Facebook search bar can pull up tons of videos, pictures, memes, and hashtags.
